Great Lakes Suzuki Institute

The Great Lakes Suzuki Institute celebrated its tenth year in July 2002!  Located in Hamilton, Ontario, on the campus of McMaster University, the Institute welcomed seven violinists to its Strings for Siblings program in 2002 in addition to the almost thirty flute students, and an equal number of teacher trainees, who also participated.

UPDATE: The dates and details for the 2011 Institute are now posted.

To register, please print the registration form at the bottom of the 2011 Institute information page, fill in your details, and return the registration form along with your payment to the address at the bottom of the form.  Please note: if you wish to take a teacher development course, you must have submitted an audition tape to the SAA.  Full details can be obtained at http://suzukiassociation.org/teachers/guides/audition/

We lost our friend and Institute director Marc Kirouac on August 11, 2005.  Please read the
tribute to Marc from the American Suzuki Journal.

Here are some photos from the 2002  and 2003 Institutes.
